2. Who we are and what we do

Hansard Education is an independent education consultancy. We advise and support prospective students applying to undergraduate, postgraduate, MBA, and foundation or pre-master's programmes at universities in the UK, the United States and Europe, including help with applications, personal statements, interview preparation, scholarship and funding guidance, and visa and accommodation support.

Hansard is an independent advisory service. We are not part of, and do not represent, any university, college or awarding body, and mentioning a particular institution on this website does not mean that institution endorses Hansard.

3. No guarantee of admission or outcome

Content on this website - including guidance on entry requirements, application processes, deadlines and scholarship information - is provided for general information only and reflects our understanding at the time of publication. Admissions criteria, deadlines and funding availability are set by individual universities and government bodies and can change without notice, so always confirm current requirements directly with the institution or authority concerned.

Nothing on this website, and nothing said by a Hansard counsellor, guarantees admission, a scholarship, a visa, or any other outcome. We advise and support your application; the decision always rests with the relevant university, funding body or government authority.

4. Enquiries, applications and your personal information

Where you submit an enquiry through this website - for example via our Contact, Apply Now, or scholarships forms - you agree to provide accurate, current information, and you consent to Hansard storing and processing it to respond to you and provide the service requested, as described in the consent notice shown alongside each form.

We take reasonable steps to keep the personal information you share with us secure and we do not sell it to third parties. To ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, contact us using the details in “Contact us” below.

All text, images, graphics, logos and other material on this website belongs to Hansard or is used with permission, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. 8. Reviews, testimonials and submitted content

Student profiles, testimonials and quotes shown on this website are shared with the permission of the individuals concerned and reflect their own experience of working with Hansard; they are not a promise of a similar outcome for any other student.

If you send us feedback, a testimonial, or suggestions about our service, you agree that we may use it, and - where you have agreed - publish it on this website or in our marketing, without further compensation to you.

9. Social media

Hansard maintains pages on social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat and WhatsApp. These Terms apply to your interactions with us on those platforms, in addition to the relevant platform's own terms. Comments or content posted by other users on our social media pages reflect their own views, not Hansard's, and we may remove content that is offensive, misleading, or breaches a platform's rules.

Messaging us via WhatsApp or social media is treated the same as any other enquiry under “Enquiries, applications and your personal information” above.

10. Children's information

This website is intended for prospective university students, their parents and guardians, and education professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate parental or guardian consent. If you believe a child has provided us with information without that consent, contact us and we will remove it.

11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

This website and its content are provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hansard excludes all warranties, express or implied, about the accuracy, completeness or availability of this website, and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of it, including reliance on information published here.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

You agree to indemnify Hansard, our staff and counsellors against any claim, loss or expense arising from your misuse of this website or your breach of these Terms.
