Merit-based
Awarded for outstanding academic achievement, test scores or extracurricular excellence, regardless of financial need.
Need-based
Awarded based on a student's or family's financial circumstances, to make studying abroad accessible regardless of income.
Government-funded
Funded by a student's home government or the host country's government - like the fully-funded paths available to Saudi students above.
University-funded
Tuition discounts, bursaries or fee waivers offered directly by the university itself to attract strong international applicants.

Scholarship FAQs
Can I apply for more than one scholarship?
Yes, you can apply for as many scholarships as you're eligible for. In some cases you may be awarded more than one, though most scholarships don't allow you to hold multiple awards at the same time.
Do scholarships cover full tuition?
It depends on the scholarship. Some cover full tuition and living costs, while others offer a partial fee discount or a one-off bursary - our team can help you understand what each option actually covers.
Are scholarships available for postgraduate and MBA students?
Yes, many universities and government schemes offer funding for postgraduate, master's and MBA students, not just undergraduates.
How can Hansard help me find the right scholarship?
Our admissions team reviews your academic profile and goals, shortlists the scholarships you're most likely to qualify for, and supports you through the documentation and application process.
