They need to study foundation or pre-master's programmes to enter undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. University Pathways for High School Graduates
High School applicants who are not doing IB or A levels need to complete an International Foundation Programme (IFP) to get into their dream university and course. There are generally 4 routes:
These programs prepare students for undergraduate degrees. Once student complete the foundation with the required grades, they automatically progress to their progression degree. Pre-Masters for Graduate applicants with low GPA
Many universities offer pre-master's programs to help students with low grades in their Bachelor's degree get into their desired postgraduate degree. These postgraduate diplomas are in 4 categories:
Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) provides the foundation for the pathway into practice for non-law graduates who want to qualify as a solicitor or a barrister. The Hansard Admissions Team will recommend the right pre-master's pathway and university based on the student's bachelor's grade and English Language score.

English Language Requirements:
- IFP: IELTS Academic UKVI - 5 or 5.5 (no component less than 5)
- PMP: IELTS (Academic) 5.5 overall with 5.5 in each of Writing, Listening, Reading and Speaking.
Academic Entry Requirements:
- Achieve at least a pass in a full first degree.
- Pre-Masters in Humanities and Social Sciences - any degree subject can be considered.
- Pre-Masters in Finance and Economics - a satisfactory existing level of Mathematics, Statistics or Quantitative Methods.
