US Admissions

US university

How the US process works

The United States is the number one destination to study for students worldwide. It has over 250 institutions in the Times Higher Education ranking, and around a million international students enrol yearly. It can be a daunting task to pick a university in the US, as there are many fine institutions across its different states.

University Selection

During the initial assessment session, our admissions team will look at your grades, areas of study, language/test scores, and extracurricular activities. They will also discuss the preferred locations, the ranks, and the level of competition for admission to various institutions. The admissions strategist will recommend 3-5 options.

Starting the application

Start the application

Our admissions team will start the online or Common App application process after an initial assessment and ensuring the basic requirements are met. We will then prepare applications to 3-5 universities.

Test and Language Requirements: Ivy league and many other elite US universities will require standardised test (GMAT, SAT, GRE, MCAT, LSAT) results as part of the application and some institutions will ask for other documents like writing samples or a portfolio. Our team will discuss the requirements and provide the necessary guidelines to improve test results and additional materials.

International students need to demonstrate sufficient English-language skills to secure a place. Most US universities accept TOEFL and IELTS tests.

Other documents

A Statement of Purpose and a Resumé are vital documents to secure an offer from US institutions. Our team will provide guidance and feedback on how to compose both of these documents. Our experts will highlight the key points that must be included.

Student reviews

A friend of mine recommended me to Hansard from his personal experience dealing with his admissions process to top UK universities. My consultant Francis helped me edit my personal statement and six competency questions about entrepreneurship during the application process. I also had a good prep session before my interview with the admission tutor. I also received good support after receiving an offer with a CAS interview to get the visa letter. I had a stress-free application process, and my consultant was incredibly helpful.
